Pittsburgh Business Group on Health Elects 2010 Board of Directors
Board reflects various sized employers, business segments comprising PBGH

PITTSBURGH (April 12, 2010) –The Pittsburgh Business Group on Health (PBGH), an employer-led coalition of large, mid-size and small employers advocating for quality, cost-effective health care, recently elected its 2010 board of directors.

The coalition includes more than 55 Employer Members, including Allegheny Energy, MERAD, Bayer Corporation, Butler Area School District and Giant Eagle.

“We are pleased and fortunate to have such experienced, dedicated professionals leading the Pittsburgh Business Group on Health,” said M. Christine Whipple, PBGH executive director. “The board is a true reflection of the diverse group of employers on behalf of which PBGH advocates. Their expertise is critical in ensuring the organization continues to provide high-value services that meet our members’ health care and employee benefits needs.”
